It left me completely beside myself—because I had never known what it felt like to be afraid of movement.

For months following that hike, I felt trapped in my own body.
Terrified that the smallest movement might injure me further.
I didn’t understand what was happening.
I had no roadmap, no diagnosis—just fear.
From the outside, people couldn’t see the internal battle I was facing.
They assumed I was still "in it"—still broken, still stuck.
But inside, something had started to shift.

I’m no longer on any medications.

My 5 Non-Negotiables for a Strong, Resilient Life
After everything I’ve been through, I’ve identified five daily practices I’ll never go without again. These are the anchors that keep me in alignment, mentally clear, physically capable, and emotionally resilient.
1. Daily Movement
Whether it’s strength training, mobility, hiking, or a walk—I move every single day. Movement is medicine.
2. Sunlight
I get outside. Even if it’s just for 10 minutes. Nature regulates my nervous system and reconnects me to something bigger.
3. Clean Food & Digestive Support
What goes into my body matters. I fuel myself with whole foods, herbs, and supplements that support gut health, reduce inflammation, and promote healing.
4. Community
I don’t do life alone. I surround myself with a strong circle—people who see me, support me, and challenge me to grow.
5. Energetic Work
Reiki, shamanic breathwork, reading, playing guitar, spiritual ritual… these are the things that bring my nervous system back to center. They’re not optional—they’re essential.
